Empire Hair Emporium is described as the best barbershop in Taos, with a welcoming atmosphere and a great vibe. The shop is clean, friendly, and family owned. Staff are courteous, patient, and bilingual, making it very welcoming to new customers. The environment is absolutely amazing, and the guys who work there are really nice. One barber, Jessie, always delivers a consistently great haircut with attention to detail and precision, leaving customers feeling confident and satisfied. Another barber, Donald, went above and beyond, listening to everything a customer wanted, resulting in a perfect haircut. The shop is affordable, very communicative, and great with children, including a 2 year old and a mother in law. Customers recommend it 10/10 to anyone in the local area and plan to return.
Updating my review after today’s visit. The experience was great this time. My son was seated immediately and loved his haircut and the design. Big thank you to Donald for the awesome cut!
We arrived for my son’s 12:00 appointment, and were greeted by two of the gentlemen working there, which I appreciated. My son is a new client, so I wasn’t familiar with who anyone was or who to check in with. The shop was busy, so we sat and waited, but we didn’t receive any updates and weren’t acknowledged again until around 12:40. A little communication about the delay would have helped. Jessie and the homie Pedro hooked me and my father up for my Birthday highly recommend
This barbershop is very welcoming to new customers, great vibe and bilingual. I was able to walk in and was immediately greeted by Pedro G. and seated for a haircut. Affordable and very communicative, I will be returning and maybe even taking my son next time.
