Over the years this has been my go-to for health and health issues and the doctors there 98% of the time have been amazing and perfect. There've been a couple of speed bumps here and there but they definitely get an A+ in my book

I made an appointment a year in advance and even received a text message verifying my date and time for my appointment. Days before my appointment I received a notification appointment reminder and my appointment changed without anyone notifying me. Nobody asked if the new appointment time would work, I was never asked for permission to change my appointment, and I was never even received a notification that my appointment changed to a different time. This is really bad communication, especially from a medical facility. Now I had to change my appointment for 4 months later than initially expected.

I made an appointment for urgent care for 11:10am. I waited for an hour and then inquired as to status. I then was told that my appointment had been changed by the charge nurse to 12:30, and there was no communication with me. When I inquired, I was told that I could just cancel. Absolutely the worst service with no empathy for the situation at hand.

Presbyterian in Santafe is excellent! I've never had to wait long and everyone there is so friendly! I recommend Presbyterian in Santafe to everyone!

I received excellent care from my last PCP at this practice. My son and I both received excellent care the several times we needed to utilize the Urgent Care clinic while living in Santa Fe and traveling there from Taos. All staff was professional, supportive, and great at their jobs.

I deeply regret not consulting these reviews before choosing my primary care physician. The accessibility of care and prescriptions are major concerns. While I sometimes get prompt responses, I’ve also been denied new prescriptions despite filling previous ones. Regardless of how frequently I visit, I’m told I need an in-person review of potential side effects, but I’m never given explanations for new prescriptions during my doctor’s visits. I’ve filed a complaint on their website, left messages at the front desk and written request with my nurse several times, but no action has been taken. It seems my private insurance isn’t being valued nor do they need the business. So, I’ve decided to seek alternative medical services.

Couldn’t access the building bc I didn’t have my mobility aide and instead of making a simple accommodation nurse just turned me away. Bruh it’s 2024

Went in for a New Patient Appointment to get established with a provider at Presbyterian. With my insurance this is supposed to be a fully covered expense. At the end of my check-up the NP asked if there was anything else she could do for me. My current prescription for heartburn medication had lapsed at the time so I asked if I could get a script for it. No work-up was done whatsoever regarding said heartburn. Come to find out me asking for a prescription for my heartburn pills allowed Presbyterian to change my billing code from a New Patient Appointment to a "Diagnostic Appointment - Esophagitis." This allowed for them to charge separately for my appointment and made it no longer a covered expense by my insurance. When I called their office to clarify this and see if I could get them to change the billing code back to a New Patient Appointment they wouldn't budge. Not sure how you can bill someone for a diagnostic visit in relation to esophagitis when no screening was ordered or done (I.e. an EGD). Regardless, what they are doing at Presbyterian is predatory and I'm writing this review to hopefully save someone some money going forward because this providers office will nickel and dime you for every little thing they can.

Switching to Presbyterian Medical Group was like the scene int he movie "The Wizard of Oz" when they reach OZ and the black-and-white film suddenly changes to brilliant color. My first experience with Presbyterian was in Emergency at their Santa Fe hospital because I had shortness of breath that would not slow down. From the first moment I arrived I felt cared about, listened to, and understood. Every staff person I interacted with was professional, caring and f beyond the call of duty. The medical staff asked good questions and made me feel safe as they gave me excellent care with calmness, compassion and kindness. This experience counterbalanced my worst-ever medical experience at the other hospital emergency in town. I had the same symptoms but did not get either the care nor the attention I needed. I've lived in Santa Fe for 45 years and have had several outstanding physicians but each of them either retired or moved away. The last physician practice I went to BEFORE coming to Presbyterian was the most disappointing -- I was NEVER examined by him and we never had a conversation after I became a patient. I was assigned to a young nurse practitioner. He did wave to me as I left his office for the last time. Thanks for adding Santa Fe to your service area.

Met with a great doctor in July 2023. They scheduled me for an appt January 2024. Just got a call and they pushed it to May 2024. 11 MONTHS! It's only a pap, which is basic routine care. Good thing I pay all this money to Presbyterian for insurance I can't use. Santa Fe prides itself on being stuck in the past. Apparently, to a time before doctors.
