I’m so grateful to Dr. Jeannette Kelly and her team in Santa Fe for the extraordinary care they gave our dog Susie. When Susie received her bladder cancer diagnosis, Dr. Kelly didn’t just lay out treatment options—she took the time to really understand our concerns, answer every question, and walk us through each decision with clarity and patience.
Because of Dr. Kelly’s expertise and thoughtful guidance, Susie’s story did end with her initial 3–6 month prognosis from another vet- she lived a full three and a half years more. Memories we would not have had without Dr. Kelly’s care.
Dr. Kelly is a gifted oncologist - a magician, really. My beloved dog Midge has fought skin cancer for 6 years, since the age of 5. In the past couple of years, the mast cell tumors started erupting with increasing frequency and size. After multiple, futile surgeries at other clinics, it became a frustrating and expensive game of whack-a-mole, with one new tumor replacing the other. I was sure Midge would be gone in a year, especially when tumors stared popping up in difficult-to-operate areas like behind the eyes and along her jawline - dangerously close to lymph glands.
