Had an appointment with Doctor Yangchen. She is wonderful. She was very easy to talk to, didn't rush me, and patiently answered all my questions. We looked at my recent lab results on the monitor together, going over everything line by line. I really felt heard and we came up with a plan for moving forward together.

I came in with severe stomach pain at 10 am. It was busy in the ER, but I was checked in immediately. The check-in process was a bit redundant, involving 3-4 people for the same demographic/insurance info. But they apologized that it was a new process with shuffling from room to room. The medical staff were highly efficient, friendly, and explained everything in detail. I had 2 ultrasounds supervised by Dr. Best and then the recommended gallbladder removal. The excellent surgeon, Dr. Rael, and her team were caring and thorough in prepping me for the procedure. I appreciated that they included my partner in discussions and decision making. All the staff here are very professional and friendly. As soon as I arrive and check in they almost always call be into the room. Not long waiting times. The reason this is a 4s instead of 5s is because it is ridiculously hard to make appointments with them. The call times are long and you can't schedule a few months in advance like some other doctors. Its always month to month scheduling.
