I was seen by Dr. Hamm and nurses, May 26, 2026, for what was diagnosed as altitude sickness. I was on a driving vacation with my husband. Tests and a chest x-ray (without any protection to my throat) led to treatment of oxygen and nutrients. I left with a prescription for nausea but was not warned of side effects nor how to take the med. We flew home the next day. At home, I dealt with side effects, which came on quickly: constipation, excessive gas, problems urinating, extreme tiredness, and change to taste buds, messing up enjoyment of my 90th birthday in early June, and causing me to stay home most of the time since then. The staff, the nurse, and the provider are excellent and caring. I was treated with respect and giving clear instructions. I don't like using an Urgent Care Center, but I am thankful they are available. Thank you , Rio Rancho, Suite 101!!😃🫠🙂
