“This vet hospital is a God-send and Dr. Bill is an angel in Vets clothing!! I took my beloved dog Ralph in for excessive itching and Dr. Bill did a routine physical, upon checking Ralphs teeth he noticed SEVERE absesses. He got Ralph into surgery almost immediately and basically saved his life!! I'll forever be grateful to South Valley Animal Clinic. The price was more than fair and Dr. Bill was very clear on all procedures he administered. If Dr.Bill ever gets to read this, or his staff, please know you've saved my baby and I'll forever recommend your awesome clinic.“

“Absolutely love this place and I’ve only been there once, so far. Left them a message to make an appointment because my dog has been having seizures for the past few years and the other vet I was going to did nothing about it. My dad referred me to sunrise cause he takes his dog there. They were able to somehow get me in that day- which is much appreciated. Dr. Abernathy is great, well educated and caring. He explained to me that putting my dog on a seizure medication would hopefully help him in the future- which is way more than the other vet did for me. The staff there is awesome and friendly. Was a great price too. I’m so happy I finally found my pets a good, trustworthy vet. Highly recommend.“

“Wanted to leave a review for the staff and especially Dr. Kiki. I brought my cat Brooks in when she started showing signs that something was neurologically wrong. She was walking like she was drunk. The staff there first of all was so sweet and compassionate with myself and Brooks. They sent off some bloodwork to do some testing but over the weekend my Brooks stopped walking and had a seizure. After letting Dr. Kiki know what was going on, she has gone out of her way to call and check on Brooks every single day and always kept me informed on different options, especially with my limited funds. This is the first vet I’ve been to where I feel like they actually care about my cat and aren’t trying to nickel and dime me every step of the way. Today, on a combination of meds from Dr. Kiki, my Brooks was able to walk over to me (with an unsteady gait still) and head butt me and purr. A couple days ago she couldn’t even lift her head up. We still have a long road ahead of us but I know I have a clinic that has my back if need be. Thanks guys“

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place operates differently. The front desk staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, not just polite, but truly caring. They remember you, they remember your pet, and they treat you like family rather than just another appointment on the schedule.

The doctor is absolutely amazing. He is an angel of a human being. Treated my dog like if it was his. What really sets Mesa Grande Animal Clinic apart is their compassion.

It is rare to find a clinic where trust comes so easily, but Mesa Grande has earned it completely. If you are in Rio Rancho and want the absolute best care for your pet, this is the place to go. I would not trust my dog with anyone else.“

“I've taken both of my kitties to Veterinary Dentistry and the care and communication is outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Bannon and Dr. Littles, who have done procedures on my kitties, including one with severe stomatitis. They are both highly skilled in veterinary dentistry. The staff are likewise very knowledgeable and attentive to detail. Ensuring the comfort of our furbabies has always been a top priority at this clinic. I'll be picking one of my kitties up shortly, from his procedure today. I was kept informed every step of the way and know he has received the very best of care.“

“We are very impressed with La Cueva. We have five dogs. We are preparing to retire in Portugal. They all have been great helping us to get all five of our dogs prepared for the move.

Our dogs have some chronic conditions; such as thyroid, incontinence, mass cell, they also discovered a detaching lense. We just discovered that one dog has a tooth that is shearing and we will be returning for dental.

We have a blended pack that demonstrate behavior issues, such as a 60 lb jumper, a 17 pound snapper, and a 13 pound wiggler who only wants his mom.

They have been excellent with accommodating five appointments at the same time, which we know takes a great team. Dr C and staff are amazing.

Our daughter moved to Europe, also moving 3 dogs and referred us to Dr. C.“

The staff and the doctors are so kind, gentle, knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. My boxer is 10 years old and has been coming here since he was a little puppy! When we walk in he goes straight to the scale and sits right down so I can call out his weight for the check in process.“

“The vets and staff here are excellent. They really take the time to explain treatment options and even present options outside of their clinic. They are also very responsive when urgent issues arise. They also provided information on how to reduce the cost of RX medication. While it may take a little longer to get the initial appointment, they are well worth the wait.“

Small business and excellent Dr. will soon retire which explains less hours that are available. They have offered for our pup good wellness care, and shots plus routine heartworm med. were affordable. Front desk help is so informative with issues that were resolved often over the phone. FYI- though for emergencies, you will be referred elsewhere.“
