After such a horrific experience with our long time vets office in relation to our pet falling Ill unexpectedly, this office of people were a literal God send. I sat crying in my prior vets office calling hysterically trying to find a vet that was able to see an exotic pet, they gladly said yes bring your baby in right away. They literally treated us and him like they knew us, like family. Kind and caring and compassionate to our situation. Even though our sweet boy passed away, they literally did everything possible, displayed concern and care I hadn’t experienced with my prior long time vets office. No internet review I write can adequately represent how wonderful the team at Acequia is or my appreciation for them. I moved to Albuquerque in 2013 and found Acequia where Dr. Holland became the vet for my then senior cat. Fast forward a few years and I met Dr. Gray-Dees as she was one of the only vets in town that didn't scare away when I called about taking a VERY anti-social cat in for a visit. My 'senior' Doberman, Gracie (I didn't name her!) has extremely bad teeth that cause her gums to become inflamed due to either abuse or lack of care . I adopted her without knowing her problems; however Dr. Holland has been very helpful with medications that allow my girl to eat comfortably. It isn't totally curable but the meds improve her gums and give her comfort. THANK YOU, DOCTOR HOLLAND! Rose & Gracie
