Sunset Memorial Park is a beautiful and well-kept cemetery in Albuquerque. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the chapel, which has been recently remodeled, is a peaceful place to remember loved ones. While customers appreciate the cemetery's appearance and staff, some have experienced delays in receiving headstones. One customer reported a seven-month wait for a gray granite headstone, despite paying upfront, and felt no discount or alternative options were offered. Despite this, the customer was satisfied with the final product. Overall, Sunset Memorial Park is considered a respectful and well-maintained place for honoring the memory of loved ones.
We recently laid my father-in-law to rest, and Deanna was incredibly helpful throughout the process. The park is beautiful, and Deanna’s knowledge and compassion made a difficult time much easier. I have many family members buried here and will continue to use this cemetery, especially with Deanna there.
I have multiple family members that are at rest here. Some are resting in the Outside Grounds Area, while others are at rest in the Indoors Area. And my family is going to continue being laid to rest here! The Outside Area is always kept up p with the most care by the Grounds Staff. The head stones are kept clear and visible to see and read, the grass is always cut and never overgrown, no weeds growing anywhere on grounds from what I've seen. And I visit my family often. It's nice to come visit and not have to worry about a dirty lawn. I recently held my Mom’s memorial at the chapel at sunset. The chapel itself had been remodeled in recent years and is absolutely beautiful. I am also extremely appreciative of the staff, Deanna, Joe, and Tanner who went out of their way to make sure my Mom’s slideshow was able to play on time despite some technological issues.They are always so friendly here and would recommend their services to anyone as this cemetery is well keep and a peaceful place to come remember your loved ones.
