I had the honor of taking this class back in 1988. I *knock on wood* have never been in an accident. I think I am a very good driver and feel I am very safe. I attribute my good driving habits to McGinnis driving school. I loved it so much that I sent my kids to this school 35 years later. Let's be clear- they have expectations. Driving is a very dangerous activity. You need to be taught properly. I am thankful for a reputable company like McGinnis that has been around for over 60 years! Thank you McGinnis family- past, present and future!
I have purchased driver's education, with driving hours and road testing from McGinnis School of Driving two times. The first time was for my 18 y.o. nephew, who moved in with us at the beginning of the COVID lockdowns. More recently, for my 15 y.o. daughter. Both were positive experiences overall.My nephew ended up completing the classroom portion and lacked the motivation to schedule the in-person driving lessons to obtain his license. This was not the fault of the school. Rather, it was the lack of motivation and initiative on his part to obtain a license. I don't fault the school for that. They make learning fun and I think most appreciate that. I don't know where most of these bad reviews are coming from but I personally think it is ridiculous. If you want your child to go to a good driving school who gets the job done; I personally suggest you come here. But instead of just my suggestion, why don't you go there and see for yourself. (They are harmless)
