I just wanted to say that I have been so lucky to have found Loveless/UNM rehab. The staff are amazing, from the time you walk in until you leave. I want to thank the ladies who schedule. They have such a hard job. I would also like to personally thank Danielle, Christine, Eliza, Marcel, Monica, and Robert. These people show positive and thoughtful concern for their patients. They are always smiling and caring. They take the time to make sure you're comfortable at every stage of the therapy. Thank you to the staff at Loveless/UNM Rehabilitation.

After 17 days at LOVELACE UNM REHABILITATION HOSPITAL, my mom is home today. On December 9th, she fell on the sidewalk resulting in two breaks in her pelvic bone, a broken tailbone, broken right humerus and a head injury with a brain bleed. UNM Trauma Unit had her for two weeks, and then she was admitted here...to the Rehabiliation Hospital, where she received FANTASTIC and thorough care from her AMAZING doctor (Dr. Koh), capable and caring nurses and techs, STELLAR Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists, and wonderful staff. I can not express enough, as someone who cherishes her, how grateful I am to this GREAT organization for the heartfelt and wonderful care they provided to my mom. YAAAY!!

The worse, they did not know were patients are at and they do not change patients diapers in a timely manner for patients that cannot walk. also saying patients denied shower or bath.

I had three strokes in less than a month. PT and OT worked me hard. I was able to drive my car in less than 6 months. They were kind and friendly. Pushed me to achieve. Always helped me with food, dressing, or personal needs. The aides did not, they onlying get 1 star. Food was good.

After having an accident where a pickup truck struck me while riding my bicycle, and spending four weeks in the hospital,I was sent to Lovelace Rehab for a little over two weeks. First off, I was extremely disappointed with the room that I was given. I was put in with one other fellow who with no fault of his own, had a horrible continuous cough day and night. To make matters worse, he was close to deaf which caused him to have his tv so loud I could not use mine at all. I complained to several of the staff and he would then turn the tv down for a while but then it would go back up. The rooms are very old and extremely out dated. I don't expect them to be totally remodeled, but fresh paint and new floor coverings would greatly help. I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. When having to call for assistance, always came in a very timely manner. Never had to make a second call. The therapist on staff were also wonderful, which made my recovery experience as pleasant as could be. Was impressed with the equipment they had and the staff was vigilant about cleaning everything after being used and before another patient used. My other complaint was the food! Hospital food is hospital food, but this was horrid. Thankfully UNMH was much better. Couldn't have put up with it for four weeks. All in all, with the staff and therapists, my stay was acceptable. If it wasn't for the room and food, I could of given Lovelace five 's.

My mom was sent here from the trauma unit at UNM Hospital, and so far, she is feeling more pain and seeing less progress. They sent her to Lovelace ER for a day to get her sodium up to normal, and it was "out of sight, out of mind." Poor communication to say the least. Also, her UTI is back with a vengeance (they stopped the antibiotics), and this morning, they lost her urine sample needed to order more antibiotics. To make matters worse, her pain (broken ribs) is worse than it was when she arrived. It has been a "comedy of errors," to quote my mom. Except it isn't funny. Rehab is supposed to make you better and stronger. She can't even go to PT because of the pain. We are checking out alternatives now--I'm afraid she might not survive their treatment. What a nightmare.
