I go to this barber because I need my beard shaped by someone who gets beards. He does an excellent job on the beard and on haircut as well. He is an excellent barber. It is also relatively inexpensive. You pay a few bucks more than the corporate sheep-shearing enterprises and, for the money, you get a cut by an expert. This shop was recommended to me by a store in Albuquerque old town that specializes in beard supplies.

I've been getting haircuts here for 28 years. Jeff and Desmond are in a word, amazing. They are friendly, polite, and professional. They care about their customers. El Dorado is a classic barber shop, run by classic gentlemen who provide a very high-quality service. It would be difficult to overstate the quality. If you're looking for a great haircut in Albuquerque, please give these guys your business. Over the years, I've recommended El Dorado countless times. I've brought my kids there for their first haircut. Consequently, ask Dez how many generations within a family has he provided haircuts.

Don't let the run down strip center they are located in dissuade you. Traditional barbers that keep a clean shop. Since Covid shutdowns (thanks MLG) a decent barber was hard to find. Seems anyone that knows how to turn on clippers thinks that they are barbers. Looking for someone new that actually cuts your hair, give these guys a chance.
