Completely Gone to the Dogs

I had really high hopes for this place first because it's so close to our home and I had them recommended to me by several people after we moved to this area. They did a great job grooming my dog and I had a great experience with the front desk/washers, but I give three stars because of my final experience.When I came to pick up my dog he got excited once he heard me enter the store and started whining/barking, which I get is annoying, but the response from the employee in the back with him was to yell "stop it, shut up" in an extremely harsh tone. New to the area, and we have been just bathing our dog at home to save money. But, he was really needing to get a hair cut (**** was getting stuck to his behind) and nail trim. We called around to a few places, and this was one of the only ones that would take him without proof of rabies vaccine (he doesn't get them due to severe allergic reactions). That, along with the great reviews, made it a no-brainer to book an appointment here. We dropped him off and filled out some quick paperwork and confirmed the services we wanted, as well as what type of cut to give. Picked him up a few hours later, and he looked great! Hair was cut exactly as asked, and nails were short. Our dog's quick is pretty extended, so they let us know that they went as far as they could - which was on par with previous grooming experiences. For our Pekingese, it came out to $60 for bath, cut, nail trip, and anal gland expression. Pretty comparable to the other quotes I've received in the area.

I’ve had the hardest time finding a groomer that wouldn’t traumatize my dog Edward. I saw all the great reviews and decided to try them out. My dog came home looking great and feeling great! No issues or injuries makes me a happy dog mom!
