Our feral cat Loki unfortunately suffers from stomatitis, an extremely painful inflammation of the mouth. He stopped eating and we did not know why, but he was correctly diagnosed by the vets at Alamogordo Animal Hospital. Despite a full mouth tooth extraction, he had a flareup and stopped eating again for almost two weeks before we could catch him. They administered a steroid injection and he was back to normal a few days later. We’re hoping for the best, but it’s comforting to know that smart, caring professionals like Dr Byrnes and Dr Lund are nearby!

I started bring bother of my cats here about a year ago. The staff are friendly and attentive. One of my cats needed surgery and the staff made sure I had all of the information before the surgery. They also checked up multiple times afterwords to make sure my cat was recovering well. Overall I have been happy with the Alamogordo Animal Hospital.

Bernadette was the sweetest and most helpful! She truly cared for my kitten, answered all of my questions and helped make sure I understood everything! 10/10 great employee and great experience overall. Definitely keep her around!!

Can not say enough good things about our experience here. We are from out of town having an emergency and they gave us an appointment anyway. Extremely kind and compassionate to both our dog and us. Dr London was so sweet! We wish we could have her as our vet but we live in PA. Helped us navigate our pup as a transfer to the El Paso Pet Emergency hospital which made the process there so much faster and easier. Highly recommend them!

My dogs experience at the Alamogordo Animal Hospital was great. Dr. Barnes is great, my dog really likes her, the techs and office staff are great. My dog has never liked going to the vet until I started taking him to the Alamogordo Animal Hospital. He gets excited when I take him. A big THANK YOU to all the staff and Veterinarian's for being so helpful, caring and awesome.
