I am short (under 5 ft) so I need to get pretty much everything hemmed or shortened. Over the years I have brought dozens of pants, dresses, and shirts to Annie to get altered. She does a really wonderful job. The thing I like the most about the way she hems the pants is that she will taper to keep the original shape, even when taking several inches off the bottom, and she also tries to keep the original hem as much as possible. This is important with jeans and denim to keep the original look. She is also very sweet and makes you feel like an old family friend. First time writing one of these but saw these other reviews and wanted to share my own experience. Been coming here the past two years or so and can't see myself changing cleaners anytime soon. Annie is nice and friendly and always remembers me on the phone or when I come in. My clothes get cleaned and pressed. Not sure what else you could ask for. But the alterations are good too. When I tore a shirt cuff on a door handle they sewed it up like new. My wife had a dress hemmed and she said it was perfect. Price is right. Close to the 208. Recommended.
