My first visit was great! I got a pedicure and gel manicure. Amazing selection of polish colors! I loved the little things- my purse was put in a basket next to me so it was not on the floor, I was given a cold bottle of water, they used toe separators instead of tissue, and they had two built in uv lights for my hands. They were fine with me getting a regular pedicure and didn’t pressure me to get a more expensive one like other places usually do. I will definitely go back again!

He came out that day and fixed my bathroom and also tightened the pipes in my kitchen sink. He also charged very minimal for what he did. I highly recommend Bill Whitney!!
Martial arts training is not just learning to punch or kick. It is not just about learning some new words our memorizing some forms. Sensei has built a dojo that teaches the heart of a warrior while also teaching the techniques of empty-hand combat as well as some traditional weapons. Over thirty years ago I first walked into the dojo, scared, having been bullied daily at school, and needing a safe place. This was, at that time, the one local dojo where discipline and honor seemed equally or more important than the techniques. Sensei not only taught me how to defend myself, but more importantly taught me that in his dojo the only person who "wins" a real-life fight is the one who never has to fight in the first place. Techniques that he teaches are for defensive use only, period. I had seen students dismissed from the dojo for starting fights, but thankfully that was a very rare occurrence. Now, many of the students I had trained with assist Sensei in the instruction, and I know that in their heart they continue to teach with honor, and also with great skill.

I am always recommending everyone I know to go to Salon Tomai, and specifically to Kristen, I really don’t like to tear others down to lift someone up but to be frank, I’ve had a lot of friends go and spend a lot of money at very expensive salons to not get what they were hoping for. But I feel the salon is very reasonable priced considering the amount of skill and attention to detail is given to my hair every time I go. I always feel I can recommend Kristen to my friends with complete confidence that she will be able to send them away amazed at how good their hair looks. You will be in good hands with Kristen.

I wanted to leave a wonderful review for this wonderful salon. I was brought in right away at the time of my appointment promptly, my assistant had booked my appointment so there was some confusion over the name for some reason, but once I arrived, that got settled. I was able to express my stylist Nicole what I wanted And she did such a spectacular job, probably the best that I’ve had, in many years. She brought my hair to the tone and shade that I wanted it the first time, she did a wonderful cut, and it didn’t take too long. The price was within range for this type of service, and the salon was very aesthetic For our present time. Don’t let the location discourage you as it’s next to a little smoke shop and really is just a hidden gem. I highly recommend everybody who’s looking for a wonderful hairstylist to go there as you won’t be disappointed. They’re up-to-date on trends and they have a good eye for beauty from what I could tell, and all of the stylist, although I was more focused on Nicole, who is doing my own hair. It seems they have a wonderful portfolio of photos on Instagram. I can’t say that I wasn’t disappointed that they didn’t include my hair as she had taken a picture. I tagged them on my Instagram to try to bring them some local business and thought that my photo would have been added to the photo corral on their page, but unfortunately wasn’t. No big deal! In any case, I highly recommend this salon to anyone in the local area and please ask for Nicole when you go there and she seemed to be the nicest and friendliest person there so far.

First time here, came with a friend who is a loyal customer and she raved about their work here. I got seated with Nina for my gel pedicure and wow can i just tell you, she did not rush me but she was not obnoxiously long either, she genuinely cared about her work and what she was producing. She was careful, asked me questions and also let me guide her for different little things i wanted. She also busted out these hot stones that were part of the pedi,,,, ooooh loved those and she also gave a great thorough foot massage. I liked het work so much that i decided to do my hands also!!!! I haven’t done my hands since 2020!!! And can i tell you they were perfect. I showed her a Pinterest pic and it was right on the money…. I cannot wait to come back!

I know this is a very late review, but I’ve learned it’s better late than never when it comes to gratitude.
Back in October 2024, my dad had a cancer benefit while he was fighting Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma that started in his lungs and spread to his liver and stomach. It was one of the hardest times our family has ever gone through.
During that time, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Martino Cartier Salon and Wigs and Wishes. Martino and his wife Gianna put together a beautiful donation basket for my dad’s benefit, and it meant more to us than I can really put into words.
That basket ended up being the highest auction bid of the night, and it helped support my dad during his journey in such a meaningful way. I will never forget that kindness.
My dad sadly lost his battle on September 30th, 2025. Even though he’s no longer here, I’m so grateful for the people who showed up for him and our family when we needed it most.
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for the work you continue to do for cancer patients and their families. It truly makes a difference.
I always get my son’s hair cut here and it’s always been a great and quick experience (which he loves fast things). They really get how to handle all ages of kids and also special needs kids as my son is autistic and hair cuts have always been a struggle. I didn’t get the stylist name from our last time but she was our favorite, long blonde hair.

Dr Mary and staff are amazing. I travel an hour and 15 minutes to get there because she is the only repo-vet I trust. She helped me breed my first litter via AI. My puppies were micro chipped and examined at 8 weeks and most recently she did an ultrasound on one of my puppies and included me in the exam room to watch the screen. Where I live you can’t get a vaccine titer blood test but Dr Mary does and because of that I don’t have to over vaccinate my dogs. Love her!
