“As a private contractor working foreclosures within this region I can’t think of a better tree service. Professional, Meticulous, and attentive on all of my projects is what I have. Jerry the president of Sherwood has been there for all of the work performed on my sites and is ever so diligent in teaching me a little something in the field. Prior to me stumbling across Sherwood I was working with other tree services where sales reps were coming out and promising me the world only to have a fleet of un experienced kids that eventually aggravated my landscaper with excess work that should’ve been cleaned up by the tree service which in turn would offer me a clean up at an additional expense. That or a stump that wasn’t grounded correctly. I would highly recommend Sherwood for these reasons ( along with competitive pricing). Give them a call and prove me wrong I dare ya?“

I have used many tree companies I can’t say I have ever had a terribly negative or bad experience but what I will say as a developer and contractor these guys are the real deal and by far my favorite. In such a tight spot near a fence and a home they were able to take down two trees in what seemed to be only two or three hours using my neighbors property and not doing a single scent of damage . “Colin and his team did a great job for us! We have old growth trees on our property in northern NJ that needed to be trimmed to remove sailing and dead wood. Mostly Norway maples and a pin oak tree. The Norway maples have a dense canopy, inhibiting understory growth.All work was done with care and respect for the property. They cleaned everything up very well when finished. The whole team was really professional and helpful. Good pricing.“

“We spent a year looking for a professional tree removal company. Too many of the companies had such poor communication that we had to chase them first for response to our inquiry and then again to get our estimate. I kind of gave up during last Winter and resumed again this Fall. In total, we received six quotes from six different companies and are SO THANKFUL we saw Adirondack recommended on our town's local neighbor Facebook page.One of the owners, Bill, responded immediately and came out himself the next day and handed me a written quote. He answered and followed up immediately via phone call and text to a question I had after he left. While many other companies gave me red flags, every flag Adirondack held up was green. He was also the ONLY company to explain that he needed a permit to take down my two dead trees and I provided him the info he needed to send his request off to the town. They also happened to be tied for the lowest quote. The other company with same quote offered no tax for paying cash, but I gladly paid Adirondack the tax because of their excellent communication.They arranged a convenient time for us and our neighbors' schedules, arrived on time, and both owners, brothers Bill and Scott were there. The crew was dispatched via PSEG and showed up in the middle of the night to remove the tree that fell on our house. The job was taken care of professionally and extremely quickly considering that it was the middle of the night and they were only working with truck lights.
