“After years of trying to find a barbershop that could get my son’s haircut right, I finally gave up searching locally and went back to where it’s always been done right.

We used to go to Art of Fades about 5 years ago when we lived in Dumont. Since moving to Flemington, I’ve tried shop after shop — and every time I asked for a burst fade, I’d hear “yeah, we know it”… but the result always said otherwise.

So this weekend, I made the drive from Flemington to Tenafly — and it was 100% worth it.

Steven Yap still delivers with precision, consistency, and real understanding of the craft. No guessing, no explaining twice — just a clean, sharp burst fade exactly the way it should be.

At this point, I’d rather drive the distance and get it done right than keep wasting time trying to find a replacement.
