Dr. K recommended a combination of Botox and Sofwave to help lift, tighten and refresh my appearance while maintaining a natural look. “They are great. The only thing I would say is that this seems to be more of a med spa vs actually diagnosing real skin issues. I had come in with a terrible allergic reaction that was caused by being literally attacked by mosquitos all over my leg...and it spread to my chest area, which I learned is called an ID reaction. So, I learned something new. But, I saw a second physician who kept saying she thought I had scabies, when really that was not the case. I ended up having to go to Presbyterian ER in Bronxville and the ER doctor there diagnosed me properly, which was an allergic reaction. I was given steroids which helped initially bc it was a small dosage but the second time I was given a much higher dosage and it was making my whole body FREAK OUT. What I needed was Benadryl & Pepcid...which is what calmed my skin and overall reaction down. I would say that this office could use a brush up on their clinical skills b/c I was a bit turned off. A biopsy was done in both the allergic areas, and the same thing came up in pathology, allergic reaction. The stiches in the my leg POPPED and now I have to keep it covered with bandaid and bacitracin until it heals....and the one under my chest I pulled out myself bc I didn't want to deal with anymore hassle. Overall, good place to go, but, for anything more serious skin issues, I recommend going to the urgent care or local ER.“
