“I originally joined Toma for my daughter, who desperately needed a confidence booster due to being bullied at school. I was someone hesitant, as I've been dealing with lower back issues since my early 20s. I had surgery in 2013, and was in and out of physical therapy practically every year after. As of today, I can honestly say that my back issues are practically non-existent since becoming part of the Toma family. There is a strong focus on core strengthening and flexibility, which is key for anyone dealing with back issues. I feel so much more flexible, stronger, (and younger!) since joining Toma. I am fulfilling my lifelong dream of learning martial arts, and training with weapons, while getting physically fit as well. On my way to being "badass"! The best part is that get to do it with my kids, and the great community at Toma. Master Jo and his staff (Roberta, Ernie, Karin) are very positive influences on my family and I, and they are badass as well. Joining Toma was one of the best things I have done for myself, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to spend time with your family, while getting healthier physically and mentally.“

“We moved from a different Taekwondo place about a year ago and the only thing I regret is no coming here from the very beginning! As soon as we walked in for a trial class we were greeted with the biggest smile and you could tell Master Lim truly cares for his students. He’s fun, kind and all the kids love him (including parents). For him, it’s very much about having fun with the children while still teaching. Highly recommend checking them out!“
