“Amazing experience! A little back story for context.
For 3 years I have been growing out the most horrible haircut of my life. Someone local to me who supposedly knew how to cut curly hair used texturizing shears on one side of my head with no rhyme or reason, just hacked at it and also gave me an undercut without telling me what they were doing. I was devastated!
I had been trying to find someone to help me fix it, someone who actually knows how to cut curls and thank God I stumbled upon Curlies while I was in town vacationing.
On somewhat of a whim I decided to call and make an appointment and Jessie was able to accommodate me the following day.
When I arrived for my appointment, she gave me a detailed consultation and made me feel very at ease, she really knows her craft! I walked in there with a lot of Anxiety and an unintentional Mullet and left relieved with a haircut that is blended properly, that showcases my natural wavy/curly texture that I can work with and enjoy while it continues to grow out.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Monika’s! I had my hair and makeup done here the morning of my wedding along with my bridal party and moms, and the entire experience was perfection. From the moment we walked in, the team was so warm and welcoming—they even let us use their kitchen to set up breakfast and kept us laughing the whole time.

What impressed me most was how much they truly listened. Both of our moms were nervous about not looking like themselves and didn’t want heavy makeup, and the stylists delivered natural, beautiful looks that made them feel confident and comfortable. She gave me realistic expectations for what to expect when removing red box dye, which I respect and loved the transparency. However she exceeded my expectations, and was able to fully remove and fix my hair. She did an amazing job and all of the staff was very lovely.
