Monica gave a very good haircut to my nephew (who is on the spectrum). After several years avoiding salons post-pandemic, he was finally ready to go short-short and donate his hair. Monica sensitively advised him of his options re: various short, shorter and eventually shortest while managing parental emotions, all with a Nor’easter looming. My first time at the Stone Harbor salon. Beautiful salon, friendly staff! My stylist Jessica is fabulous! I usually allow her to tell me her recommendations in regards to my hairs’ needs-especially root touchup and highlights. Always very happy with the results! So I decided to do something drastic and try out getting a perm for the first time and got the opportunity to have the owner of the salon. I feel as if she sets the example of how all salon owners should be. The perm came out amazing, exceeded my expectations and she was very tentative the entire time. The assistant/hair washer was amazing! If I were a straight man I’d probably take her home, that’s how good her hair washing skills were. 10 out of 10!
