My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Chhada at Hackensack Gastroenterology Associates for about 5 years. And honestly, you couldn't find a kinder, more compassionate human than Dr. Chhada. She takes her time with patients, and really listens to them. Even the front desk staff are so kind, and understanding. Shoutout to Maraneis for helping out during a very overwhelming time! Thank you to everyone in the practice, and I look forward to making my appointment next!

I received good care at their office from Dr. Chhada. I was just frustrated with their inflexible transportation requirements after a colonoscopy. I was required to have a family member pick me up. I understand completely that is to ensure my safety after being under anesthesia. However, I am a single man with no immediate family. I would have been happy to use a ride service for my trip home. I would have signed any waiver or allowed them to watch me secure my ride. Unfortunately I will have to find another provider for my next colonoscopy. Also, I received a second bill 10 months after the procedure. Apparently this was for the anesthesiology portion of the procedure. That is ridiculous. I would hope they would be more efficient than that.

The office staff is hit or miss. Some are pleasant and helpful, others "flat" and seemingly disinterested. I was never sure when or if I would receive a call back in response to a question.The Tech who worked with me during my only office visit was very nice and professionalDr Leibowitz is very pleasant and really listened to my story. Endoscopy and Colonoscopy were ordered. However, contrary to what he indicated, I was not contacted by his staff until 3 days prior to the procedure as to my cost for the procedure. I had very little contact with his office prior to the procedure and was not contacted AFTER the procedure. I had to call THEM to REQUEST medication to treatan...read full review
