I cannot recommend John Soares enough. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Before working with John, taking our dog, Dylan, for a walk was a nightmare for me. He would go berserk and pull on his leash whenever we came across people and other dogs. Since he is so strong, he caused me to fall on two occasions. John is an exceptional dog trainer who has transformed our energetic rescue dog into a well behaved companion. His clear instructions and positive reinforcement methods made training enjoyable for both us and Dylan, leading to noticeable improvements in Dylan’s behavior. To say John Soares is amazing would be an understatement. I have worked with many trainers and he is by far the most effective at communicating with BOTH animals and humans. With him, it's not just about executing the skill or learning the task; he delves into true understanding of animal cues, behavior, and body language in a way that is easily digestible by the owner. His resume is beyond impressive, but more importantly, it is evident that he truly has a passion for dogs and very much cares for their well being.
