She is very patient and perceptive—she can read my daughter very well and keeps her challenged, encouraged, and engaged through every lesson. Not an easy feat with a preschooler!Ia is very methodical and intentional with her pedagogy. She doesn’t just work through a primer. Each piece and skill set is part of a broader approach to teaching and she regularly incorporates music theory and ear training. I wish I had been taught in this way! I’m a little jealous of the incredible musical foundation my daughter is getting at such a young age.Finally, Ia is very kind and flexible. Located on the second floor in the center of a cute little town, it is above a great coffee shop. Worth a visit“
