About Retro Fitness
Retro Fitness is a gym that aims to provide its members with a positive and enjoyable experience. The gym offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment, group fitness classes, a Smoothie Bar, and a Pro Shop, catering to the diverse needs of its members. While the equipment may be considered old by some, the gym's affordable membership fees, ranging from $20 to $25 per month, make it a budget-friendly option. The staff is widely praised for their friendliness and engagement, especially with members' children, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the facility does have some areas that need improvement, such as the cleanliness of the bathrooms, the functionality of the water fountain, and the timeliness of equipment repairs. Despite these minor issues, Retro Fitness remains a popular choice for those seeking a convenient and cost-effective fitness experience.
A good option for me to maintain and improve my physical condition. It's in a good location, easy to get to, has ample parking, and has good activities. It offers a variety of drinks and smoothies. It's also good, friendly, and respectable service.
went to their website for pricing information around 7 AM and it offered me a free trial
Was willing to pay for membership but I said what the heck and signed up for the free trial and waited for the text/email
and waited
and waited some more
now they close in less than an hour and I'm still waiting on my free trial
haven't worked out or showered all day 😒
I'm gonna sign up at the YMCA tomorrow. it's $75 a month but at least they didn't waste my time
Talk about a dying gym. Got a membership because I was interested in yoga classes and they were offering BOGO with a free flex membership. Signed up for the yoga class online and was excited to attend. Then we got to the gym, waited about 15-20 minutes for someone to see we were standing at the check-in desk to then only find out they don’t offer yoga and don’t know when they’ll be offering yoga even though they advertise it! I cancelled my membership on the spot … Disappointing. I’m giving them an extra star only because the employee was kind, understanding, and apologetic. Seems like RetroFitness is having a hard time staying afloat in Central NJ.
