After almost a month of nursing a lower back strain that just didn’t seem to improve, I went to Dr. Kochoa. He did a thorough assessment of my condition and anatomy before targeting the exact location with a dry needle and my pain was gone immediately. But not only that worked with me in strengthening and prevention for further pain and injury. They are wonderful and informative sessions where you have his undivided attention and I am so grateful and happy that I went!
I have had issues with my back/leg pain going back 10 years due to congenital spinal stenosis. Two years ago I had surgery, a microdiscectomy and a laminectomy L3-4. I thought I was home free but the pain came back! I went to Dr. Paul thinking I had a herniated disc and was going to start the cycle with injections and surgery again, but right away he helped me in ways that other PT places never did. He explained my problems and adapted my exercises based on what I could do. (I also have osteoporosis) I was motivated to work at home in between sessions because he never asked me to do anything that was painful. He really listens to his patients! I have gone to 4 or 5 physical therapy places over the last 10 years, but nothing comes close to Par5PT. Dr. Paul is just amazing, and spends one-on-one time with you for the entire session. He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire anatomy, and designs exercises to target specific areas, improving strength and reducing or eliminating pain. I would highly recommend Par5PT.
