“First I would like to start by saying I'm a few months later posting this review, however; nothing like the present.
My son was transferred from Cooperman St Barnabas to Kindred Care to be winged off his trach. Arriving @ 1am in the morning because of inproper paperwork hadn't been ready upon his leaving..The 1st person's we encountered was the ER security who were very helpful with us seeing the right people.
They allowed us to stay until he was settled in & told us the schedule for visiting hours..We were back there in 6hrs..
Second person was security desk to direct you to his floor. I love that team! (rm#414)he had this room all to himself the entire time. We stopped by cafeteria to get coffee & to my surprise what a well managed staff 👏 the preparation of food was awesome..I ate there everyday!
Now the third was the team of Dr's. Nurse's The Therapists..Everyone answered my questions when available or got back to me.( and I asked alot of questions)! Now there was Danielle(always a smile) provided a Uber for me on Mon Wed Fri what a blessing that was. Yes we had some hiccups along the way Uber couldn't get the address quite right. Now there's Case Manager Ms Bobby was always on her job checking in all the time to keep me updated. The night staff always reading my notes 📝 that I left every nite..YES.. there are so MANY names to thank & all I can say is Jason I thank you so much for the confidence you always gave me that I had this(new dad) Monica thank you also. Ms Debbie always checking on me & so many other's. To the house keeping staff my son's room was always clean..Yes.. Ms. Bobby thank you for suggesting I try short term rehab 1st..we're still here planning on going home soon.
Yes..there were some hiccups along the way and would I recommend Kindred Care for your love one..I would!!
