“Our entry power hadn't been updated since the Great War...60 amp service...so to upgrade to 200 Amp, I needed EVERYTHING...new meter box, new outdoor shutoff, new main breaker, new breaker box and all new entry cable. I was provided an estimate and just a few weeks later, they were off and running. They brought the installation crew, a bucket truck and all the stuff they needed to do the job, all in one shot. I had to be in the home for some of the time during the work. The crew on site was friendly and happy to answer questions. They even re-routed my entry cable to a location that made much more sense. From the outside of the house it looks really nice... a professional install much better than I could have done. They know so much about what they are doing! The entry looks great! So does the new breaker box! They even labelled my circuits for me! They got it all knocked out in one day and cleaned up so well inside and outside you wouldn't know they'd even been there. They also arranged an on-site state inspection of their work. When I received the bill for the services I was pleasantly surprised that even though the job was complicated (think Victorian construction), the bill was easy to understand and even less than the original estimate! I'd definitely recommend Harris Electric if you have need for professional, courteous and affordable electric installation/repair at your house or business!“

“Galle Electric came last month and removed the remaining knob and tube from our home, which was a big job. They did fantastic with it! Galle is a small family business with very competent, knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful, careful workers. They left all of the wires they worked on behind the wall (no surface mount), fished enormously and with tenacity to reach difficult places (even crawled through some crawl spaces), plastered over every small hole they had drilled, and were very responsive to requests. They regularly cleaned up the plaster dust they created and managed to get the job done (with 3 men working) in 3 1/2 days. I was very happy to have them and have been totally satisfied with the results.... No more knob and tube and a highly marketable home!“
