“I came across this wonderful place because I followed my stylist Micah!! Micah is an absolute GEM! I have curly hair and it took me almost 20 years to finally find someone who knew how to help me handle my curls. She is so patient and kind and knowledgeable. I can recall a time that a color I chose wasn't really right for me and she stayed with me deepening the glaze until I was happy! It was my own fault and she didn't have to spend her evening after hours trying to give me what I couldn't explain. She ended up understanding my non-sense and it came out perfect!! It's so so hard to find someone who has the 2 most important qualities....knowing what they are doing, and someone you so easily vibe with. I found that in Micah!! She truly is the greatest of all time! I would follow her anywhere she would ever go!!! You can't go wrong with her! “I have been seeing Antonio for over a decade and I won’t let anyone else cut my hair. I’m consistently happy with the results, and this is from a gal with some significant curl trauma from my youth. I have long to mid-length (when dry) curls and he is great about helping me keep the length, but also get the lift I need so I’m not wearing a triangle on my hair, or sporting what I call “the poodle mullet”(If you know, you know). He does great color, too, choosing color for me that warms my skin. I travel an hour and 1/2 to see him in LA usually, but I sometimes see him in his light-filled space in NYC, too. I can’t recommend him highly enough.“

“Amanda is amazing! I had been wanting to get extensions for a long time but was honestly really nervous about it. I’d looked into a bunch of salons before and always got close, but something never felt quite right. I’ve been going to Love Lane Salon for a while now, they have such talented stylists, and one day I noticed they had started offering extensions. Since I already loved the salon, I decided to book a consultation with Amanda.

She immediately made me feel comfortable. She was super knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and walked me through how everything works. I appreciated that she wasn’t pushy at all—no upselling, just genuine care for what would be best and healthiest for my hair.

Even during the actual appointment, I was still a little nervous, but Amanda was so calming and reassuring. And the results? Absolutely incredible. The extensions were seamless. She matched them perfectly to my hair’s texture and color, which isn’t easy to do, and the final look was just stunning. On top of that, she made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

What really stood out to me was how much she followed up afterward. She checked in during the grow-out process, gave me personalized recommendations, and made sure everything was going well. The extensions also lasted a really long time before I needed to get them adjusted.

I had about two inches of roots and some old red color in the rest, so the process took around 7 hours - fortunately Leonardo is an absolute angel and talked me through the whole process to put me at ease, and he even provided a lovely tea blend while we waited! Karisma is very patient and she gives you a full kit with pigments, and all the items needed to learn. I’ve taken classes before and they barely give you a few things.
