About Spartan Mixed Martial Arts

Spartan MMA offers a clean and safe environment for martial arts training. Coach Jon, a 3rd degree black belt, provides personal attention and focuses on practical BJJ techniques. The gym is welcoming to members of all skill levels and ages, fostering a strong sense of community. Students appreciate Jon's patience and ability to explain foundational moves clearly. Spartan MMA also offers a Muay Thai Kickboxing program.

Professor Jon is a fantastic instructor with very deep technical knowledge. The school has a very friendly and welcoming community of students who are all great to train with. If you are thinking of trying out jiujitsu, definitely try this gym!

We couldn’t be happier with this jiu-jitsu school. My son absolutely loves his classes and looks forward to going every week. The class sizes are small, which makes such a difference — the coaches really take the time to work with each child and give them individual attention.

Beyond learning skills and discipline, the kids have so much fun. The environment is positive, encouraging, and supportive. It’s been amazing to watch my son’s confidence grow. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a program that truly cares about the kids!

I’ve grown from a white belt wrestler to a purple belt jiu jitsu practitioner here. A smaller gym where you can get to know your rolling partners and learn some very technical jiu jitsu. Here you’re not one of many, you’re a student like the rest of us and we all want each other to get better in a safe and fun environment. Not to say we don’t roll hard too, we do.
