“ALC Construction did a wonderful job on my remodel project. I purchased a 1950’s era home and soon after decided to remodel. At first, I was just going to redo a bathroom and the living room ceiling – no big deal. Then I found shortcomings in the wiring and decided I needed to replace the entire electric system. This meant tearing down the walls to the studs. That’s when I realized I needed professional help.<br>Anthony was highly recommended and I worked with him previously to install a set of pull-down attic stairs. We met and discussed the job. This is my retirement home and with the studs exposed a whole new world of options opened up. Anthony hooked me up with a fantastic architect, Sona Kyselica, who came up with several options. I chose one that included a lot of alterations that drastically improved the flow of the house and fit in with my lifestyle. This included vaulting the living room ceiling, moving the rear door (and cellar steps) from the west side of the house to the east side, reconfiguring the kitchen, new kitchen cabinetry, moving walls to provide a more open living space, reconfiguring the HVAC system, replace all the kitchen and bathroom plumbing, replace and upgrade the electric from 100 amp service to 200 amp, and install all new windows.<br>Anthony was great, he took care of all the details. I was still working (in Seattle) when all this work took place. He got all the necessary permits and inspections. He hired and oversaw all the subcontractors needed: masons, framers, electricians, plumbers, sheet rockers, spacklers, carpenters, HVAC, painters, tilers, kitchen cabinetry, countertops and more. This was a great relief to me – living and working on the west coast and remodeling my retirement home on the east coast. I would be absent for weeks at a time. As the work progressed Anthony got to know my personal likes and dislikes and I had confidence that he made decisions I would approve. A text with some pictures or a quick phone call was all that was needed to resolve questions while I was away.<br>The remodel came out fantastic! I am so very happy with the outcome. This really is the retirement home I dreamed of. It was a pleasure working with Anthony and I would recommend him for all jobs – big or small. He is a kind, intelligent person and knows his business inside and out.”

It severely needed a full rehab makeover like you see on those HGTV shows. I needed it done soon by a specific schedule within a certain budget. I did my research and chose 3 local companies around Nutley. One of the three was Ace Remodeling. I told them what I specifically wanted and the timeline. The three gave their estimates to me and I ended up choosing Ace. Danny (the owner of Ace) was prompt, gave me a thorough detailed estimate in writing, and was able to start right away.<br>I am very thankful that I chose Ace Remodeling. Danny, Ash, and the rest of the crew are earnest, hardworking, excellent professionals at what they do and it shows. If some unforseen minor obstacle arose, which usually does in these type of jobs, Danny came up with the most cost effective way to solve the issue. In addition, it looks nice. I'm nitpicky about minor things and pointed them out to Danny and the crew during the reconstruction. They were addressed promptly and I was very pleased.<br>The end result after all of their hard, meticulous work was nothing short of spectacular. They finished a little earlier ahead of the deadline, which makes me happy and now I can go rent the apartment out now. Lol, maybe I won't rent it out now because it came out so nice that I might just move in myself.<br>If you want honest, hard-working, meticulous craftsmen doing your project without any worries..I wholeheartedly recommend Danny, Ash, and the crew of Ace Remodeling.
