“I am quite surprised at the negative reviews though they are in the past. I took my toddler here & I can only say he is the most patient, kind and informative eye doctor. The office was very clean, and the staff was friendly. If they take your insurance and you know how your policy works you shouldn't have any problems with payment. The office is a bit of a drive for us but I was so impressed by his manner I wouldn't go anywhere else.“

I never feel rushed during the exam and Dr Goldberg is happy to answer any questions or concerns. He uses tools and technology to keep track of changes with your eyes and help diagnose any issues. The best part is he really enjoys helping you pick out the perfect frames.... even when you ask to try on over 10 pairs :) and the selection is great..His office is open late on some evenings, which is great for those who can't take the time off work during the day. “I am a lifelong resident of central NJ and I always noticed Bomarr Opticians on my way to and from Menlo Park Mall. Finally in Nov 2023, I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately they are not in-network for my vision insurance plan (VSP), but they did provide me with a generous 20% discount and an itemized receipt so that I could submit a claim. The store is packed with eyeglasses of all kinds, so be prepared to be there awhile unless you have something very specific in mind. I was assisted by the nicest and most patient woman ever -- I cannot thank her enough (unfortunately I never got her name!) Because I have a high prescription, I only had a few options, but I'm happy with my choice. Highly recommend Bomarr Opticians.“

“Honestly - I had been a little concerned about not going to a "real doctor's office." However, I will be returning! Easy to make an appointment to get my eyes checked. The 'tech' or assistant who did all the tests was excellent. She explained everything so I knew when there would be a flash, or where to look, etc and exactly what they were testing. There was no wait. The doctor was very professional and friendly; she understood right away when I explained some of my vision history (since I'd never been there before). Asked questions about how I spend my day - in order to make recommendations regarding the glasses (progressives or not, etc) and always explained why. The office was clean, everyone was friendly; and most of the paperwork could be done beforehand online so I didn't spend 15 minutes writing my name and insurance info multiple times! Very happy.“

I was attracted by an offer on frames and consultation so I got both: two pair of glasses and my eyes examined. Doctors and technicians were very professional handling very modern equipment and Ami wrapped it all up for me with the prescription glasses.They'll be calling me in ten days when my glasses will be ready.“
