I was recently looking for a gastroenterologist that was well-reviewed and came across Dr. Tepler’s name. I was able to schedule a virtual visit with him due to Covid and was immediately put at ease by his warm and friendly manner. He asked very thorough questions and we were able to have a serious conversation that was still punctuated by jokes and funny comments to lighten the mood. Due to a history of colon cancer in my family, he recommended that I have a colonoscopy as a preventive measure, which I had at the Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy in North Bergen. Obviously, no one looks forward to having a colonoscopy, but Dr. Tepler and the entire staff at ACE were absolutely incredible. From the person that met me in the lobby for registration to the nurse in the prep room to the nurses in the recovery room - they were all so friendly and attentive, which made the process so much easier. Dr. Tepler spent time explaining the entire process to me, so I would know what to expect and put me at ease when I was feeling anxious. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tepler if you’re looking for an experienced gastroenterologist with a great bedside manner!

I recently needed to have a pre-operative endoscopy done and looked for a local gastroenterologist that was well-reviewed. Dr. Tepler and his staff were eager to assist me, courteous, knowledgeable, and just plain pleasant to work with. I was immediately at ease with Dr. Tepler, and felt that he truly placed my best interests medically at the forefront. My endoscopy was explained every step of the way from starting an IV to what to expect afterward. I felt well taken care of and would highly recommend Dr. Tepler and his team. They have absolutely earned their 5-star ratings!
