Today I had a scheduled appointment to see a doctor for my physical and to get checked out because I am experiencing chest pain. I took off work today just to be told that the doctor is not in and that nobody is here to do any lab work. If this was the case I should have been told over the phone prior to coming to my appointment. I took off work because my health is very important. If you do not have the staff DO NOT make the client come in because there is no reason as to why I had to be there at 8AM if there isn’t anything that can be done for me. Pointless visit.
You were a great MD, but you have changed. I felt like I was speaking with a McDonald's cashier placing an order. You have my life in your hands, but want to rush through the appointment. I know you won't care because I'm just another MRN.
I say this as a customer or patient perspective not to disgrace or blame this clinic located in Edgewater.I do not recommend this place for many reasons based on my interaction.1. I requested a blood work and fasted for 10 hours. Without any updates, last minute notice was that there can’t be any blood work done. I went in twice wasting my time and energy2. Handed me the health pre assessment paper and it’s hardly readable. It's old and outdated.3. The front desks are arguing about something which is very unprofessional.
