“For well over a decade I’ve visited Dr. Stephen Comite both for annual check-ups and for specific skin problems when they’ve occurred.I live outside Manhattan, and the trip in to see him has always been worth the time and effort. Dr. Comite has an encyclopedic knowledge of his medical specialty which allows him to answer - clearly and concisely - all questions. “What caused this?” “What can I do about it?” “What if I just leave it alone?” He does not rush his responses, he invariably offers options, he is sensitive to the cost of prescriptions and procedures (hence, the options), and he LISTENS to the patient. He also never fails to personally follow-up after a procedureHe is surrounded by bright, helpful, kind staff members who, like Dr. Comite, remain focused on the patient and will not rush, even when the office is busy. “If you're looking around for dermatologists -- maybe new to the area, or needing to switch from your current provider -- I would just book this. The staff is great, professional, transparent, and on it. Price-wise, you may pay a little more than a larger office, service dependent, but I think it's entirely worth it. I came in for a basic skin check ... then asked about Botox ... they were able to consult with me and provide the service on the spot. I had a vasovagal response to the injection itself (not the Botox, I'm not good with needles), and they knew exactly what to do. The fact that this is a doctor's office made me feel 10x more comfortable than if I was at a MedSpa. Nurse in training also so sweet.“

“I had a great visit at Upper West Side Dermatology. It’s very straightforward to make appointments for myself and my family. The front desk ladies were friendly. The assistant was kind. My dermatologist, Dr. Rothman, was efficient and professional. It was reassuring to know that the moles and skin tags on my skin were harmless. My co-pay was set by my insurance, and I would definitely keep up with my annual visit here just to have a peace of mind. I consider investing on my health as the best investment.I did look up some videos before my first visit so that I have an idea of what to expect. My skin was examined head to toes, and I was able to ask questions and get answers. It is important to me to have the medical information of my skin so that years later I can refer back to it if needed.“

“I will never let anyone other than Dr. Tzu touch my face again! I am currently seeing Dr. Tzu for acne scar treatments, I travel 2 hours to see her and the trips are so worth it! After just one subcision treatment, I saw so much improvement in my acne scarring that is over 10 years old. I truly had lost hope and thought I would just have to live with the scarring forever until I had my first subcision treatment done and I couldn't believe how much improvement I saw in my scars. Prior to going to Dr. Tzu, I had multiple laser treatments done with other dermatologists with no results. I just got my second subcision treatment done this past week and I will be going back for additional treatments over the next few months as well to maximize results. I'm so happy with the results so far and can't wait to continue on this journey and see where I'm at with my skin a few months from now.
