“I contacted Metro NY Insulation, among other contractors. I was impressed by their prompt response. They were very thorough in their assessment and informed me of various other rebate programs available to me even though I was only asking about the Con Edison one.
The workers came when scheduled. They were very respectful and covered all areas they worked on. I was expecting four days work, but they finished in three. They walked with me through all the work they did to make sure I was satisfied before they left.
The litmus test for me was the cold dining room is now comfortable, and I notice the house does not get cold at night like it used to. The pressurization test showed the house is now sealed up much better than before. This is remarkable for a Cape style house built in the 1940’s with almost no insulation.
