“I have always been a huge proponent of acupuncture for many of my ailments so when my tween’s tics (which she had a few years back) resurfaced about 2-3 months ago I decided to read up on acupuncture and tics/tourettes. I thought it would be worth trying to see if the imbalance of her internal heat/energy was causing her anxiety and tics. Given her age I needed someone who was calm and could make her feel at ease so she would be willing to try and Joshua Goldstein did not disappoint! He is gentle and calm and explained the process and her options clearly. He is very responsive and caring. I was shocked when she said she felt comfortable enough to give it a try at the very first appointment. We have been going consistently for 5+ weeks now and her tics have pretty much disappeared. By week 3 I could visibly see that the frequency and intensity of her tics had reduced significantly. I am grateful for his care and would highly recommend this practice.“

“Dr. Dylan is amazing!I was suffering from severe abdominal pain, bloating and fluid retention in my abdomen, had constant diarrhea and also extremely fatigued. The pain and fatigue were so severe that I spent the majority of the day in bed. As a result, I was unable to perform daily activities, e.g., shopping, house chores, etc.I went to my primary doctor who recommended I see my OB-GYN to find out what was going on. They ordered multiple tests (bloodwork, CT scans, sonograms, upper GI test and MRI). After seeing the results, both the primary and OB-GYN doctor could not find an explanation for my condition.I shared my situation with a friend who recommended that I see Dr. Dylan. He reviewed the same blood work that was ordered by my primary care doctor and was able to notice that something was not right. Dr. Dylan ordered additional bloodwork and was able to determine the cause of my illness. “I just want to Thank Dr. Carina for never giving up on my little one. My two year old had a chalazion for 7-8 months and reoccurring styes. We had gone to an ophthalmologist and was prescribed a steroid ointment. It only made the styes worst. For the second appointment he encouraged surgery to remove the chalazion on my baby, that just didn't sit well with me. Shortly after, I met up with Dr.Carina and we started treatment for my little one. Within a month the chalazion was GONE. We then tried different homeopathic remedies to stop the reoccurring styes. It took a little while to get the right one but she was able to resolve it and the styes stop coming back. I am so happy I listened to my mother instincts and went with Dr.Carina. We avoided an unnecessary surgery that probably would have left my daughter traumatized. I highly recommend Dr.Carina, she is wonderful.“
