The owner is incredibly personable, skilled, and attentive, you can feel her pride in the quality of service the moment you walk in. I had my face waxed perfectly, my Gel‑X extensions beautifully done, and a French manicure and pedicure that came out flawless.

Her team is just as amazing. Rosa did my French pedicure with such precision and care, and Mortree did my Gel‑X extensions at the same time, both were professional, gentle, and extremely talented. The coordination and teamwork were outstanding, and the results were gorgeous.

“If I could give a thousand stars, I would! Went about a week ago, desperately hoping for a manicure just before my Bahamas trip. Tina graciously agreed to take my last minute walk-in when I had been rejected by a couple other shops, including my regular spot since I didn't have an appointment and it was near closing time... I literally almost cried when she said she would take care of me. The atmosphere inside there is so calm and beautiful,... relaxing music, no TVs, plants everywhere, no strong chemical smells...and she offered me water while I had my service from one of her skilled technicians. I forgot to take a picture of my hands but I do remember having the nicest conversation chatting afterwards with Tina while waiting for my natural regular manicure to dry. I will definitely be back but if you can, please support this kind local business in our community-- they are clearly doing God's work!“

It is hard to find any nail salons that give you an actual manicure with your service anymore. My nail technician went above and beyond with my dip powder manicure and treated me to a luxurious experience! I have found my new local salon.“

“This salon needs to be much more transparent about its pricing. After returning back 3 days later to get my nails fixed due to chipping polish and uneven nails the tech took off my gel to fix my nails thoroughly. I decided to change my gel color and was never informed of the additional charge before my service, I only found out when it was time to pay to change the color during a nail repair would be an additional $45.00. Last year they did the same thing and charged me $15 extra for changing the nail shape from square to round when the nail tech highly recommended the change!

Customers should never be surprised by unexpected fees at checkout. Any upgrades, add-on services, or extra costs should be clearly explained and approved before the service begins. While the quality of the work may have been acceptable, the lack of honesty and transparency about pricing once again leaves a negative impression. After coming to Montclair New Nails for years I am hesitated to return or recommend this salon until they adopt clearer, upfront pricing practices.

She takes her time and really cares about making her clients happy. The pedi was very relaxing and I definitely recommend adding that to your service, if you plan on coming here.“

The salon is beautiful, clean and comfortable with such a variety of manicure/pedicure options. But what really sets Pinky Nails apart is the personable experience I receive consistently every time Im there. Everyone there is hardworking, friendly and there is a warmth and coziness you just don't find anywhere else these days. I have been bringing my daughters here since they were 2 years old and it has become such a family experience, even my hubby enjoys coming too! From massage, to waxing and of course mani/pedi's, they do it all and they do it the BEST. We love Pinky Nails and you will definitely love them too!“
