“The winter is past and Spring is upon us at last—Spring when homeowners minds turn to home repairs, such as roof replacements. I recently replaced my roof and had the good fortune and blessing to have it done by Miraglia Roofing Co. I used Mark Miraglia’s Roofing Co., at the recommendation of a friend, 25 years ago to replace my then desperately needed roof. I got multiple estimates at that time and decided to go with Miraglia. I was so satisfied with the complete tear off job he did at that time, which included installation of all new boards, shingles, a modified bitumen roofing procedure on an addition, and a ridge vent, that I contacted him again when I now needed new shingles. He was able to secure a color that I absolutely love. I also had him install gutter guards at this time so I no longer have to clean my gutters.
Mark has a life time knowledge of materials, installation procedures, engineering facets, etc. He also is very detailed oriented and patient about explaining and appraising you about materials, procedures, scheduling, answering all your questions, etc. so that the process is not stressful. His pricing is also fair. He is punctual with his timing and he graciously worked around my schedule. His Certified workmanship and materials used also secured a lifetime warranty which can be passed on to a new owner.
Additionally his men are his employees, not subcontractors. They were very courteous and worked together very conscientiously. I was especially impressed with the detail and time they took to secure the flashings around my chimneys to make it look good.
I also was blessed by their careful and respectful clean up procedure. They used a large metal motorized box called a roof buggy or “drivable dumpster”. It eliminated the need to drape shrubs with tarps, etc. No mess! Thus I was not held prisoner all day in my house because of tarps all around your house. A few weeks ago I also had to oversee a new roof installation at a relative’s house in which they surrounded the house with tarps, debris, equipment, etc. I had to stay indoors all day. What a difference from my experience with Miraglia Roofing!”
