Retro Fitness provides a great member experience with state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, a Smoothie Bar, and a Pro Shop. The staff is friendly, helpful, and easy to work with, making the beginning process simple and quick. They also have a good system for resolving account issues. Members appreciate the gym's cleanliness, maintenance of equipment, and affordable prices. Overall, Retro Fitness is a great option for those looking for a convenient and supportive fitness environment.
The Lincroft location is very solid, lots of parking and most of the equipment looks brand new virtually out of the showroom or at least in like new condition.
Great clientele as well, and the employees behind the counter are very professional and excellent.
My only criticism is that they have only one Smith machine, my advice would be get rid of one of the free weight benches as there are an over-abundance of them and slide one more Smith machine in there to bring the total to two like pretty much all other locations.
Other than that one little detail the Lincroft location is pretty much perfect.

Good gym, has just about everything you need and is generally kept organized and clean. Even at peak times it doesn’t get terribly crowded. Not a ton of gym options in the area, this one is the best value in my opinion

Awesome gym! The staff is fantastic, the place is spotless, the lighting is perfect, and they offer tanning beds, massage chairs—everything you could want—all at a very affordable monthly membership.
