My son had a haircut appt scheduled for 3:30. As you can see from the picture and the time in the top left corner. We are there 5min before our appt and stated 20min after. No barber showed up and no one even called to cancel. My son has picture day tomorrow. What a disgrace. Do not recommend. They will charge you extra if your 5min late as per their terms but if they are no shows it’s fine. Don’t waste your time

went for the first time for baby's first haircut Danielle was extremely patient and caring and did a really good job on my 2-year-old's trim. it is extremely friendly for kids and not rushed staff was extremely friendly Will definitely be back until he is old enough to go to my local barber

The place looks outdated. The staff is not friendly at all. They look at the customers as if they pick & choose whether they want to take care of you & all in front of your face. I made an appointment to still have to wait 30+ minutes & then find out the person over the phone didn't book my appointment properly allowing the time I needed for my children to get their full haircuts. The hair stylist finally came over and asked my children how they wanted their hair but never asked the paying adult??? And the haircut? Don't waste your time nor $

Second time Gina cut both of my son’s hair and it came out great. She was very patient with fidgeting 2 year olds… highly recommend Gina and Cookie Cutters in Mahwah.

We booked our almost 2 year old his first haircut with Gina and we are beyond happy we did! Gina was patient, personable, gave him a great haircut, and above all else she was fantastic with my son. He did not cry, get upset, or anything with her- she was even able to clean up his sides with clippers!
The salon itself was clean, really cute, and the perfect place for a child to feel comfortable (and even excited) to get their haircut.
Thank you again Gina, you were truly wonderful and we can’t wait to see you again for his next cut!
