“Dr. Stinger is wonderful. She's very patient and she also has a good sense of design. I couldn't find glasses that fit my face very well (and were in my price range) and she stuck with me until I found something that looked right. Dr. Stinger is also wonderful with helping patients stay in budget. Her secretary can help you with up front costs when you give them your insurance info. Dr. Stinger was really honest with me about my eye health. She told me the truth--not what the lens manufacturers wanted her to say. She looks out for me before she looks out for her profits. I'm sad that my new insurance does not cover me here. I would recommend Dr. Stinger to anyone, especially if you're having financial troubles or if you get nervous about having your eyes checked. She also explained why my vision needs correcting and why I have certain problems (I have very slight astigmatism in one eye--so small that they don't make contacts for it--though my main problem is myopia; this is why I have slightly blurry vision in my left eye at all times). Dr. Stinger focuses on comfort, too. She gave me trial lenses before asking me to order a full supply. She made some changes to make me feel comfy and let me know what the cost changes were, too.“

“I was very lucky to discover Gallaway Beckett Vision Therapy for my daughter. Before learning about vision therapy, I couldn't understand why she was losing her place while reading and omitting and inserting words. She was unaware of the fact that she was changing what was written because she knew all of the words in isolation. The team there is outstanding and welcomed us from the first day. They are always available to talk about how your child is progressing and give tips. They regularly assess and give updates as well. Even traveling a far distance and completing homework almost every day was worth it. Now my daughter's reading has improved greatly. I am so happy with the change I see!
