“Really enjoy dropping our dog off at this daycare/boarding facility. They pay close attention to all the dogs and what’s great is they not only separate them by size, but also by temperament. Plus, they share regular updates on their social pages, in addition to write ups on their customer portal when boarding for an extended stay. Our dog always comes home from exhausted because she plays so much. I love that we don’t have to worry about her when she’s at the Barker Lounge.“

“Recently moved here and took my 17yo yorkie for grooming and was so pleased! Excellent service. Shop was so clean and well organized. Loved that my dog wasn’t stressed out being put in a kennel but was out with other dogs! All the pups were happy and looked so nicely groomed. They have small fenced areas for dog who need containing.
All in all was a great experience my dog seemed fine and not stressed as she has been with past grooming. They sent me pics of her at grooming table and all. Will definitely be back with my pooch!

And, I also love the personalized attention our girls get. I really disliked that at a different place I previously took them in Montclair that would keep each pup for 4+ hours which was extremely stressful for them.“

“This was my first time going to purple doodle, I sent a picture of what I wanted my dog to look like and I was more than happy with the results! “Grooming was great, the disclosure on the pricing was not. When I called to make apt I got a price which was on the higher end but figured I’d give them a try anyways and am well aware as my dog is a large breed she is usually more expensive . When I dropped off my dog I was told no more then two hours till she’s done which seemed short since my dog has never taken two hrs to get groomed it’s usually anywhere from 3-4hrs. I Figured they were just quick and said ok. Two hr mark came and went and by over the 3 hr mark I was notified my dog was complete and that the charge was 30$ more then I had been previously priced. When I picked my dog up I was told that it was because she took longer because she was a large breed. As I’m already paying the highest amount for her being a large breed I was very annoyed because as a groomer you should know how long approximately a dog of her size should take and if anything I could have disclosed that. I felt taken advantage of and refused to pay the additional pricing for their lack of judgement. I would have never booked the apt if I had known the price could have been 30$ more then previously quoted . I’m not a new dog owner and have had this breed for 15 plus years so I don’t appreciate the lack of communication and disclosure. They just kept giving me excuses as to why it was so high. My dog was clean and matt free and is very well behaved so the additional pricing was just ridiculous. Although they did a beautiful job I wont be going back due to their price gauging and lack of disclosure.“

“First time going to this location it seemed like the staff love animals, went in for an emergency checkup and was seen very quickly. Very nice location with options of treats, toys, and medicine for my kittens. The vet that saw my kittens was as friendly as can be, even providing a lot of caretaking tips that I didn’t know. Can not complain in the slightest. THEY EVEN HAVE FREE COFFEE AND BISCUITS“

“Get your dog groomed here!!! My dog can be very timid and shy when meeting new people and being in new places. The groomer saw this and CAME OUTSIDE TO SIT ON THE SIDEWALK with my dog u til she felt comfortable to walk through the doors. By the time I picked her up the groomers were getting kisses. They really go above and beyond to make sure their services meet your needs and expectations. In addition the price point can’t be beat. I highly recommend this place to dog owners who want other dog owners looking after their babies.“
