“I have nothing but great things to say about this vet office. I am a crazy cat mom and I am a very anxious person when it comes to my animals. I found out on Sunday that my cat Scout would need a cystotomy surgery for a bladder stone. I called city by the sea on Monday (they were recommended to me by a ton of people on Facebook) and they got me in the same night for appointment. Dr. Santos-Melody spent so much time with me, doing an extensive evaluation on Scout, went over his blood work, his surgery, and answered any and all questions I had. She was incredible. We originally scheduled the surgery for the 18th but I called and expressed how stressed I was about the position he was in and they moved his surgery up for me. This has been such a crazy few days and I cannot express how easy they have made this process. Their staff, pricing, availability and all around business is just amazing. I seriously could not recommend them enough. Thank you to Karen, Dr. Santos-Melody and to the owner Dr. Tom for working with me and doing all you can do for my baby boy. I so so so so appreciate it !!“

“Wonderful, caring people work there and upon arrival my dog got loose from his collar but the staff was right there to get him inside thank God. Also when I picked him up, they were kind enough to walk him to the car for me. Plus they were available for all follow-up calls too. Very highly recommended them and I appreciated all their help.“

“Colonial Animal Hospital was initially recommended to me for acupuncture after I decided to go a conservative route to treat my doxie’s IVDD. While my vet was not thrilled and so sure she would not recover without surgery, Dr. Vokral was onboard with trying acupuncture and was detailed in explaining it all. The staff there are all warm and welcoming and will not meet a better group to share in the little victories along the way. I’m happy to share that my girl does have a wobble walk down and would not trust anyone else with girl on this journey, as I’m sure it’s still some journey ahead. You will not find a better place and group to treat your pets.“

I bought my cat in for an emergency visit on a Sunday and didn't have to wait too long to see a Dr. Unfortunately I found out some bad news and ended up having to say goodbye to my Franky, but the Dr was very compassionate and let me spend as much time as I needed with him. “I recently started to use Bayshore on the recommendation of a few friends. Everyone from reception, to vet techs to Doctors are friendly, warm and caring. My animals get a thorough exam and are treated with respect. I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.“

“We have know Dr. Trotter for 30 years. There is no other like him. So very knowledgable compassionate and caring..not just for our pets but caring for people as well. He and his assistant Joanne who we love so much has gotten us through so many good times when we bring in a new little angel and so very many hard times when we have to say goodbye to them. He helps us find the best route to take to help them when they are ill. He's there with us through everything. I can go on and on but one thing i will say is he is the very best especially because he truly does care..“
