Musical Instruments & Teachers near Lambertville picked by BestProsInTown
“Lovely and calm shop with beautiful instruments. Everyone I’ve encountered here has been kind and attentive. It’s above a cafe and it feels like a living room- full of wonders! Had a repair done to a small hole on a vintage Martin that’s very important to me and loved the work. Have bought several instruments with pleasure and confidence.”
“Michael’s passion for teaching voice is unmatched! He’s knowledgeable, supportive, and makes each lesson enjoyable and productive.”
“My daughter started piano lessons with Ia about six months ago when she was four years old. Ia is absolutely wonderful. She is very patient and perceptive—she can read my daughter very well and keeps her challenged, encouraged, and engaged through every lesson. Not an easy feat with a preschooler!Ia is very methodical and intentional with her pedagogy. She doesn’t just work through a primer. Each piece and skill set is part of a broader approach to teaching and she regularly incorporates music theory and ear training. I wish I had been taught in this way! I’m a little jealous of the incredible musical foundation my daughter is getting at such a young age. Finally, Ia is very kind and flexible. We’ve been dealing with endless preschool germs and she is always so understanding. I am so thankful we found her—she is the best!”
