Mateo earned himself a new client. Very professional and on time I'm from Philly so I'm not use to barbers being on time especially at 7:10 in the morning on a Saturday. Very sharp his fade game is impeccable I'm impressed. He pay attention to what you want and follow instructions very well. I just moved to Jersey and was cutting myself I'm glad my first choice was a good one. Beside my barber in Philly nobody has ever cut me besides Mateo and while I'm in Jersey nobody else is going to cut me beside him, I appreciate it bro.
Finding a good barber in JC is like finding an honest mechanic - it ain't easy. I returned to JC after spending most of my adult life in Wash, DC and I struggled to find a good barber here. One was undependable due to his addiction, another was inconsistent in cutting my hair the way I wanted it done and it was really hard to get an appointment with the last barber I was using. Given my usual barber was out of the country, I needed a cut bad and after looking at the reviews opted for Mateo at Supremacy. Not only did he take the time to LISTEN to how I wanted my cut, he shared which guards he was using for my tapered fade and even trimmed the loose hairs on my eyebrows....read full review
