I recently got a haircut and had a really great experience overall. The stylist took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and also suggested a few improvements based on my face shape and hair texture, which I really appreciated. The attention to detail was impressive—everything from the fade to the blending was done very precisely.

The haircut itself turned out sharp, clean, and easy to maintain. I especially liked how natural it looks even without styling, but it also holds well when I do style it. The overall vibe feels fresh and modern without being overdone.

I had a really wonderful experience at this salon. The girl who did my services was so professional and had such a kind and friendly nature. She shaped my eyebrows exactly the way I wanted, very neat and natural – I honestly loved the result. She also did my waxing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Everything was done with care and attention to detail. It’s rare to find someone who listens so patiently and delivers exactly what you ask for. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent service with a warm and welcoming attitude❤️

It's difficult to choose a threading place in this area of Jersey City. Mostly because it's evident that there are more threading spots/ salons in this neighborhood than there are Starbucks locations in NYC in a 5 block radius! That being said, Samentha's has never failed me and has become my #1 spot for threading in JC. And in particular, Roma is the best! She's been threading me since my first visit (and I've been here more than the number of Yelp check-ins shown). Prices are legit. I get eyebrows, upper lip and chin and it's $9. Parking is only street parking and has never been a problem. They are open 7 days a week and always have at least 3 woman on staff for threading, meaning I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. Also, if you do get threaded here and are looking for Roma, she doesn't work Wednesdays.
