since her google page and sign on the door said the salon was open on saturdays, my little sister and i walked all the way from downtown to talk to the woman in charge to see if we could get a consultation for my little sister to get a blowout and cut for her graduation which is 2 days away. we get there and she wasn’t even open. waste of time, and false advertisement. she’s good at what she does though, so i suggest trying her out once her scheduling is better situated.

DARIS is great! Un encanto. She follows safety protocols. She is funny and very sweet. Besides that, she cuts, dyes, and styles my hair for a reasonable price. I can call ahead to check on her availability. I m new to this area and she has been wonderful.

If I can give this place NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! I was here yesterday and asked for my hair to be dyed brown with blonde highlights which she quoted me $175. Unfortunately, I arrived at 3:30pm and did not leave until 11:30pm. On her first attempt my entire head was blonde (which was not what I asked for). On her second attempt my hair was red with highlights of pink and gold (looked terrible). At this point I was frustrated and she told me to come back on Wednesday. However, I explained that I work a full-time job Monday-Friday on top of being a student, wife, mother and my husband's birthday is in a few days so I needed it done. She offered to fix my hair yet again for a third time. Before proceeding I showed her the picture AGAIN of what I wanted and even had someone translate my needs to her so that she understood FULLY. On her third attempt she took it upon herself to dye my hair BLACK. I hesitated a bit and questioned her as to what color she was using. My exact words were, "I just want to make sure that this is brown and NOT black". Her response was, "This is brown". She applied the dye, washed it out and started the highlights. I still wasn't convinced that the color she used was brown so I asked to see the box myself. She insisted that she threw it out. Immediately, I asked her to rinse my hair out and told her that I will simply go somewhere else. I refused to pay for her service as it wasn't what I asked for but I did pay for my haircut. After sitting there for 8 hours, I left with my hair looking atrocious.
