Exchange Place in Jersey City is one of the best spots to enjoy a full panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline, especially around sunset or during golden hour. The waterfront promenade is beautifully maintained with modern seating, wide walkways, and a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for a peaceful solo stroll or casual hangout with friends.

The area is nice and clean. It was newly renovated, and a park was added for children. They have seating in the middle part, which is nice in the summer to get/bring food and eat outside. There is a cop/transit police around frequently in terms of feeling safe.
The issue I see is cars are allowed to enter in the small area in the front, and you need to watch for them cause they aren't always cautious of the many people walking around and tend to speed through.
In perspective, it's the exchange center , cars allowed to enter, then the light rail station. So as you are walking for the train, you need to be very cautious... read full review
