Keith Murphy, the owner and instructor is masterful in his delivery of unparalleled instruction in martial arts. He's firm yet compassionate and both gives and receives respect from all of his students. The students are pushed to their maximum potential and their training yields optimal results. Most importantly for my family, my sons have a safe place to train, bond with their peers, and feel a sense of accomplishment as they grow in their martial arts abilities. Additionally, my sons are carrying the character enriching lessons Mr. Murphy teaches them into their own personal interactions within our home, school and friendships. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for the best martial arts school with an instructor who truly cares about his students.“

“DotLyfe Fitness has been an incredibly life changing experience for my athlete. When my son first started training with Coach Rell, he had very little understanding of what “strength and conditioning” meant and how it would change his perspective about not only training but how he takes care of his body. He’s always had a muscular build & didn’t know how to tone up or how strong he was. Weight lifting can be intimidating for young athletes but his experience at DotLyfe has been comfortable. Coach Rell consistently works on routines and concepts until my son has mastered them, he doesn’t just throw the next set at him. He guides him through his workouts, shows him his mistakes and corrects him in the moment. He’s a very thorough trainer and his ability to connect with his athletes through his experience makes them very comfortable and confident in his guidance. He’s learned a great deal about healthy eating & and the importance of recovery after workouts. He gets great exercise but also important life lessons about important topics such as discipline, respect and being kind to others. “Since I am not local, in person training is not possible. I did meet Sifu Dominick and had a good talk. In addition to that I have trained with one of his instructors, John since 2006. That is how I come to know of the school. When I go back to visit NJ it's great to see how John progresses. It was John , that inspired me to seek out the internal arts in 2008. If I were local , in NJ area I'd seek them out. I love that they offer the three internals, various kung fu, qigong, and weapons.“

“Damien, who is 3.5 years old, goes 2-4 days a week, and I must say, the staff is sooo wonderful with him!!! I was a little hesitant to sign him up, being that he’s a wild child and has a tendency of doing his own thing, but Heather and ALL of the instructors are so patient and encouraging! I was amazed at how great, not only how they were/are with him, but with how he responds to them! As a bonus Damien’s dad gets to join in and help with encouraging his success! I love how the parents are able to get on the mat and work with them! As a result, his dad also signed up, and LOVES it! SMA of Howell is our new family, and we LOVE IT!“
